Address suggestions: after you type 4 or more characters, the partial text you typed is sent from your browser to Photon (photon.komoot.io, a free service run by Komoot using © OpenStreetMap contributors data) to suggest matching US addresses. When you press Look up, the full address is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoding service to find its location codes. Neither is sent to our servers, and Nusi does not save it. Both services can see your IP address and may keep their own logs. To list providers, this page then downloads one small data file for your census tract (a neighborhood-sized area) from this website; that request reveals your tract and IP address, but never your street address. You can ignore the suggestions and type the whole address.
